Greenberg Traurig’s Nicole Goodwin to Present “Persuasive Speech for Expert Witnesses” for the Forensic Expert Witness Association

Nicole M. Goodwin, a shareholder in the Phoenix office of global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP, will present a webinar for the Forensic Expert Witness Association entitled: “A Primer on Persuasive Speech for Expert Witnesses, the Trial Lawyer's Perspective," Wednesday, September 20 at 1:00 p.m. PDT.
Goodwin will focus the presentation on persuasive communication skills. Participants will learn how to borrow proficiencies typically developed for the theatre and apply them in a litigation context, in communicating in the courtroom or other settings. This presentation includes a brief overview of objectivity, advocacy, pacing, use of gestures, voice projection, voice modulation, and body positioning. Goodwin is the managing shareholder of the Phoenix Office and chair of the Phoenix Litigation Practice.
