Mudd Advertising Acquires SHIFT
Joint venture evolves to accelerate growth and innovation

CEDAR FALLS, Iowa, March 13, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Mudd Advertising announced today that it had acquired SHIFT, a Chicagoland provider of Communication Supply Chain Solutions™.
SHIFT was established in 1968 as a printing company, but as the internet and technology evolved, it transitioned to providing clients with best-in-class products, platforms, and services to help them optimize their communication "supply chain." SHIFT has 14 employees and is located in Rosemont, Illinois. With a client base of several Fortune 500 companies, SHIFT focuses on providing manufacturers with agency and marketing services, distributor and dealer support, and adjacent business services.
In 2016, SHIFT evolved further to form a joint venture with Mudd Advertising, a full-service marketing and advertising company with over 35 years of providing retail-focused campaigns and services for the automotive industry.

In the acquisition, Mudd has become the majority shareholder of SHIFT. Andy Thomas is a minority shareholder and will remain as CEO of SHIFT, and Mary Kay Mudd-Bushonville will become the executive chairperson of SHIFT.
